The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is a federal government agency that
governs and operates the ports of Nigeria. The major ports controlled by
the NPA include: the Lagos Port Complex and Tin Can Island Port in
Lagos; Calabar Port, Delta Port, Rivers Port at Port Harcourt, and Onne
Port.
Operations of the NPA are carried out in affiliation with the
Ministry of Transport and the Nigerian Shippers' Council. The main
offices of the Nigerian Ports Authority are located in Lagos.
We are recruiting suitably qualified
candidates for the positions of:
Job Position: Fireman / Woman
Salary Scale: JSS 3
Locations: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri, Calabar.
Cadre: Junior Category
Responsibilities
- Carries out Fire Fighting / Rescue / Prevention exercises.
- Conduct drills / fire notices
- Ability of driving articulated Fire Engine
Minimum of SSCE / WASC / NECO / GCE O' Level or its equivalent with four (4) credits with English and Mathematics at a sitting or five credits at either one or two sittings including English and Mathematics.
