Senior Engineering PM of Application & Software Project

General Requirements Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company. Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority.
Bachelor or Higher Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering
Good Customer Service Orientation, Communication Skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independent y.
Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic to work with both Oral and written fluency in English Language.
Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel and Power Point)

Requirements /Background Huawei’s is expanding a project Management team outside of China which focus on delivery of telecom application and software solutions including online Charging System (OCS, Convergent Billing System (CBS), Next generation Intelligent Network (NGIN), SMS, MMS, IP, Call Center (IPCC) Streaming, SDP, (Service Delivery Platform), Ring back Tone etc.
This team is responsible for delivering and implementing of the project for telecom application & software solutions



ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager for Huawei’s application and software (A&S) Project to appointed as to stay in the country where the projects delivery from initial phase till to PAC granted (4-5 months average) to manage a project team of 30 team members for the implementation.
It is anticipated the project will follow Huawei’s standard project management and system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology and should include but not limited to the following project activities:
Project Initiation
Project Scope Definition and Confirmation with User.
Project Plan Preparation
Site preparation and Hardware Installation
User Business Process Study
User Requirement Gathering and Analysis
Preparation and Walkthrough of Functional Requirement Specification (FRS)
Preparation and Walkthrough of System Test Plan.
Application Software Development and Unit Testing
Documentation and User Training
System Integration Ten
User Acceptance Test.
Loading Test
Resilience Test
Production data Preparation
System Nursing
Data migration



The following are the major tasks for the position Act as Huawei’s central contact point on site for the all project matter,
Overall in charge of all design activities of the project;
Manage Huawei’s project teams to deliver the project according to plan, specification and with high quality standard,
Monitor the progress of the project to ensure the completion is according to the agreed schedule.
Co-ordinate project progress review meetings on system design & delivery, project schedule, resources and quality assurance
Report the project progress to all involved parties periodically and on time.


Requirements:Over 5 years experience in implementing Large Scale Telecom or IT Projects.
PMP Certificate holder desirable.
Good presentation and communication skills in English and with all levels of customers and Mandarin with Huawei’s project team member
